Boston Terriers are often referred to as American gentlemen due to their polite, well mannered personalities and their dapper tuxedo style coats. Boston Terriers are incredibly friendly and aren’t the type of dogs to instigate fights with other dogs or to start barking at strangers. In fact, Boston Terriers will even get on with pets so if you have another furry pet at home, there’s no need to worry.

Boston Terriers are a quiet breed and hardly bark. So if you live in an apartment building and would prefer to adopt a dog breed which is known for being quiet, you may be interested in adopting a Boston Terrier.
Train your Boston Terrier from a young age:
As Boston Terriers are naturally intelligent, it’s well worth teaching your Boston Terrier simple commands from a young age. As you may be surprised at how quickly they’ll be able to learn new commands and entertaining tricks.
Ensure that your Boston Terrier remains active:
While Boston Terriers like Fynn and friends only require one moderate length walk per day, you can also ensure that your dog stays fit and active by playing indoor games with your dog. Such as tug of war. If you have a large lounge, you may want to use a soft squeaky toy to play indoor fetch with your dog. As long as there aren’t any items in your home that could injure your Boston Terrier such as a coffee table which features hard corners.
Brush your Boston Terrier once a week:
Boston Terriers shed less frequently than a lot of dog breeds, so you’ll only need to brush your Boston Terrier’s short, smooth coat once or twice per week. Especially as Boston Terriers are seasonal shedders and shed little during the middle of each season and tend to shed more frequently at the start of each new season.
